March Meeting
Challenge Quilt: The guidelines are as follows:

  • Using the 2 diferent colored crayons you received from Gail Caldwell at a previous meeting. These colors are the main colors for the fabric that you use in your quilt. You may use as many fabrics as you wish as long as they match your crayon colors.
  • You may add up to three additional colored fabrics, but at least 50 % of your quilt must be made with the crayon colors.
  • Choose one background fabric. Either white, black or gray.
  • The finished size should be no larger than a perimeter of 100 inches.
  • You can use any theme, pattern or design but no kits please. You can piece, quilt and bind it as you choose.
  • To qualify for judging it must be completely finished.
  • The guild members will judge the finished quilts.
  • A reward will be given to the top three finishers.
  • Any questions can be directed to Gail Caldwell. If you would like to make a challenge quilt and have not received the crayons, please contact Gail at: www.gcxb3@yahoo.com to make arrangements to obtain them.
